Ira will talk about her book called Diddi
which was a homage to her mother. Through
the book, Ira tries to discover her
enigmatic mother, known as Diddi or elder
sister. Ira Pande worked as a university
teacher for fifteen years, and then as an
editor at Seminar and Biblio,
Dorling Kindersley and Roli Books. She has
done some work for television and has also
acted in the award-winning film Monsoon
Wedding. Currently, she works as a freelance
writer and editor.
