Nisha Susan is a 31-year-old writer based in Delhi. She has (as writers bios go) lived in Nigeria and Oman. The nerdy, incestuous, book-loving, candlelight-vigil-holding communities of Bangalore is her home. She is currently an assistant editor at Tehelka where she reports on culture which is fortunately a hold-all term that allows the pursuit of anything from female boxers in Guwahati to Gond art to mating rituals in school. Some of her short fiction has been published by Penguin and Zubaan. She is currently working on a collection called Broadband, the bookslut and other stories.
